The Central Australian Football League is an Australian rules football competition operating out of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia.
The CAFL organises the annual Ngurratjuta Town Vs Country Challenge event and local Rec Footy competitions.
It is notable for producing VFL/AFL players such as Darryl White, Joel Bowden and Liam Jurrah.
The home of the CAFL is Traeger Park.
On the 4th September 2010, Alice Springs football was rocked by a large brawl which escalated after a Hermannsburg player was controversially sent off. The brawl included the bashing of a 16-year-old field umpire, and 3 local policeman. The game was called off and Rovers were crowned the Under 17 premiers, with the Grand Final coming to a premature end.
